14th Brooklyn Shell Jacket

The 14th Brooklyn as it was referred to be its old militia number, but as it was re-mustered and its official designation number was 84 of the New York Volunteer Regiment.  The uniform was to take on a French  Chasseur look consisting of dark blue shell jacket with NY buttons down the front and NY buttons on each cuff.  The hat was red with a dark blue band around the bottom and red trousers with white gaiters.

Made of Navy Blue and Red Wool fully lined in cotton.
