Lovely late Victorian early Edwardian Glass Oil Lamp
These early glass lamps can sometimes turn a shade of purple depending upon the number of years they have been in the sun, and this one has a lovely purple colour to the glass, possible manganese, there are a few nibbles around the bottom of the base which would be expected with an item of this age, The single burner is a Queen Anne No 2 and the working winder has USA and Scovill Mfg Co. There is a split on the collar of the burner where it is attached to the glass font and base. It comes with a pie crust chimney which is in perfect condition.
The lamp stands 21 inches to the top of the font and the chimney is 22 inches high
