Glass Oil Lamp with Green Shade
This Late Victorian and Early Edwardian Oil Lamp is in lovely condition. It has a black ceramic base, brass stand into a lovely faceted edge font. The double burner is is working order and the ceramic winders are marked Veritas Lamp Works on one and English Make 1 Qual. It has a brass gallery, Green Shade and an Anchor Brand Chimney.
It stands 26 inches to the gallery and from the gallery to the top of the chimney is 11 inches, so a lovely substantial lamp. The font is around 1 1/2 inches along the faceted area. There is a crack in the glass font from the bottom of the bayonet fitting along to the outer edge of the font, but you cannot feel any breaks in the glass from touching it and we have had it alight many a time without any issues with it.
The parts along are worth the value we have put on this.
