Blockade Run Pattern 1856/7 Isaac Crescent Cap Pouch White
Better known as the volunteer cap pouch was being supplied to volunteer companies being raised before the outbreak of war by Isaac & Company out of England, this is a good example of a non C.S regulation style cap pouch used by rifle volunteers from 1859 and lasted well into the war.
This crescent shape British cap pouch was meant to be worn on the cartridge box sling, though most Photo examples of Infantry soldiers wore them on the waist belts.
These were supplied in Black and White.
